The Wild Sprout Library Program celebrates the natural curiosity of children by placing free, nature-inspired collections into the heart of our communities. Local libraries. Designed for children ages 6–12, each collection builds on kids’ strengths as explorers and storytellers, blending science, art, and hands-on activities that make learning both joyful and meaningful.
With themes such as soil, rivers, urban wildlife, and stewardship, Wild Sprout highlights the abundance of learning already present in our neighborhoods, parks, and green spaces. By nurturing wonder, literacy, and a sense of belonging, the program opens pathways for children and families to deepen their connection to nature, grow civic awareness, and imagine thriving futures together, starting right where they are.
